What makes me experienced enough to help you!

Health coaching
During my time as a health coach , I delivered Tier 2 weight management support to both adults and children, providing personalised nutritional guidance. My role involved supporting behaviour change across a range of clinical presentations, from early-stage obesity to metabolic syndrome. In addition to one-to-one care, I also led a weekly low-carb webinar designed specifically for individuals living with type 2 diabetes, helping them understand dietary strategies for blood sugar control, weight loss, and long-term disease management.
Public Health Research:
Sugar Tax & Type 2 Diabetes
I led a systematic review exploring how sugar taxation policies impact type 2 diabetes risk. The research found that reduced sugar intake through taxation may lower diabetes risk with varying outcomes between countries due to policy implementation, product reformulation, and consumer behaviour. This work buildt on my public health knowledge and commitment to evidence-led weight management.

Clinical Nutrition within the NHS.
With hands-on experience in complex hospital settings, I’ve worked alongside clinicians to support nutrition in critical care, oncology, paediatrics, and elderly care. I've seen tube feeding protocols, parenteral nutrition planning, and dietary adjustments based on blood biochemistry in clinical environments. thIS experience that now informs my care for clients with chronic conditions like NAFLD, PCOS, and diabetes..
Behaviour & Food choice phycology :Eye Tracking Study
As part of a research team, I supported a behavioural nutrition study using eye-tracking to analyse how consumers engage with food marketing online. We examined how visual cues influence decision-making around HFSS (high fat, sugar, salt) foods. These findings now shape how I support clients to build awareness and resilience in modern food environments.

Cultural Nutrition
I’ve supported nutrition projects designed for African Caribbean and Asian communities, working on adapted recipes that enhance fibre, protein, and micronutrients while reducing salt, sugar, and fat. This experience has strengthened my ability to offer inclusive, culturally respectful nutrition support to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Food Waste and poverty
Through my volunteer work with FoodCycle, I’ve led the preparation of high-volume, nutrient-dense meals using surplus food. These practical experiences allow me to offer realistic, budget-conscious advice for home cooking, batch prep, and building satisfying meals that align with long-term goals.

• Advanced Safeguarding Adults (Level 2)
